How to repair the Outlook error code: 0x80040600
The following error alert appears in Outlook when you try to send, receive, read or delete emails:
"An unknown error has occurred. 0x80040600"
Error 0x80040600 occurs if your .pst file is corrupt and Outlook is unable to access it.
To fix this, you will need to run the PST repair tool to scan and repair the corrupt file.
