"SQLDUMPER library failed to initialize. Your installation is either corrupt or has been tampered with. Please uninstall then re-run set up to correct the problem"
1. You likely have entries in Control Panel, Add/Remove Programs that look like this:
Microsoft SQL Server Native Client
Microsoft SQL Server Setup Support File (English)
Microsoft SQL Server VSS Writer
For the time being, lets start small in trying to remove the error.
Start, Run, services.msc
Find the entry for Microsoft SQL Server VSS Writer
Double click the entry to edit. It should be already Stopped.
Set its startup type to Disabled। Click OK and restart the computer
2. After restart if you will still face the same problem follow these steps
In Internet Explorer: Tools, Internet Options, Browsing History -- Settings, View Objects.
For any object listed as 'Damaged', right click and delete.
Tools, Manage Add-ons.
Enable or disable add-ons.
Scroll to select "Downloaded Active-X Controls"
. Make sure the ActiveX controls of interest are "Enabled"
Tools, Internet Options, Security
Click "Custom Level"
Under the AcitveX controls Disable Prompting for ActiveX controls.
3. After restart if you will still face the same problem follow these steps
-Control Panel
-Add or Remove Programs
-You should find the Microsoft SQL Server and Remove it ( there may be three so just remove all of them)
-Then Search for the download of the Microsoft SQL Server and you should come up with some type of Microsoft website
-Download the version you want
